It may not seem like much, but I think Denise will appreciate that you are trying to help. Just be a good friend, listen lots, and share whatever you can with her.
-MakennahMakennahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11237243689410037432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4949152218760032569.post-39557227051594181332011-10-28T15:10:49.090-07:002011-10-28T15:10:49.090-07:00Edie,
I am so sorry to hear the VERY sad news.
It...Edie,
I am so sorry to hear the VERY sad news.
It must be devastating to lose your mom like that! Now Denise needs all the love and support she can get. Your human must be very sad about losing her friend, too.
It will be a long, hard process for Denise. She might be quiet, she might be in denial, she might be angry because of what happened. We don't know what her reaction might be, grief is different for all of us, but it's a long process. Death is something hard to understand.
Let her express her feelings and don't pressure her at all. It will take time and patience. She might need professional help to cope with her loss, too. After all, the person a kid needs most in her life is their mom.
Be supportive to your human, and offer Denise your friendship. Make her feel important. Let her talk her feelings out if she needs it. Lend her an ear and a shoulder to cry on.

May Kendall rest in peace. She must have had a LOT of trust in your human to leave her most precious treasure with her.

Again, I am sorry for your human's, and Denise's big loss.

Love always,
LindenAGDollFriendshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03758437123044360696noreply@blogger.com
